How do I make a webpage?
My goodness, you have no idea how many people ask me this question! And No, It's not getting annoying! First ask yourself if you know what a webpage is?
No - A site made just for you, you design it, and you place information and pictures on it.
Yes - GREAT!
Now for making the webpage, you can use programs that allow you to create a webpage from SCRATCH! (ex. you get a blank piece of paper and you design it) You can use programs like Microsoft Frontpage or Macromedia Dreamweaver to create a page. But...how do you get that page on the internet? That is where WEB HOSTING comes in. When you create a page off another site, (like this one is) you are using a web hosting program. Some of these include, 20Free, Matmice, AngelFire, GeoCities, Freewebs, etc. With these sites, you create a webpage that is http:www.freewebs.com/LittleAngel or http:www.LittleAngel.20fr.com. NOT ,www.littleangel.com. (<-- this is called a DOMAIN NAME. Many domain names are NOT free. In Order to get your own Domain name, you must pay money) Back to web hosting, what you mainly do is follow the instructions given on the site. FIll out what ever forms you have and then investigate. See if your site provides access to Microsoft Frontpage and from there, upload it.

Yes, it has to do with Web Hosting! But some sites allow you to create a free website from theirs. Same rules as above, but take out the frontpage part. I created this site becuse 20free provided it! No fees, no programs! All i needed was internet service. and BINGO!

What is a Xanga?
-_____- YOU JUST HAD TO ASK!?!?! Lol..jk! I'm glad you asked this question, becuase it's the only think i know the FULL answer to!
Okay, Xanga is a WEBLOG COMMUNITY. Say it. Good. What that means is that people create sites (called Xangas) and they are able to BLOG. A Blog is a 'space' where you can post information, kind of like a speech about your day, your life, etc. You can post this blog almost anytime you like, and you can add as much information to it as you like. What makes Blogs different from other sites, is that people can RESPOND to your blog. As long as that person has a Xanga, he/she can post a remark or comment to what you posted. With Xanga, when people post they give something called an 'eprop'. THESE DO NOT MAKE ANY SENSE. They are there becuase they are AMUZING. There is not value to an eprop...its just there.
Now with xangas, you create a username, you log on, and you follow the instructions to edit your Xanga. They have many, many tools for you to use. To create a xanga that satisfies you. If you have any problems with your xanga, try going to Xanga help, or ask me in the guestbook. I have had a xanga for a year now, (yes that may seem short) But i know what I'm doing. Trust me.

What is HTML, XTHML, CSS, and JAVASCRIPT?
o_0....just had to ask didnt you? WELLLL....okay I'll discuss HTML first since it is the basic steps to learning everything else i listed. Ok, I have just found an extremely helpful site that teaches you HTML! so go there instead..........jk....I actually learned what HTML was by reading this site! It may seem like alot, but hey! You asked the question!

ps. Search your computer for MacroMedia Dreamweaver or Microsoft Frontpage, both of these programs probably provide a tutorial on HTML, I know Dreamweaver does.

What is a Xanga Skin?
AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Driving me crazy with all the questions!
*sigh* the wonderful secret of a xanga skin...
A xanga skin is literally a skin for your xanga. Okay, It's a layout that is replaced with the original xanga theme.(Right column, Middle Column, Left Column) With a xanga skin, you can make it whatever you like, (no columns!)
HOW TO CREATE A XANGA SKIN:
Xanga skins can be created/borrowed. If you know what HTML is, you will be somewhat able to make a skin. If you know what CSS is, you will be able to make a xanga skin. Why? Xanga's blogging system is based on CSS. They use CSS to create their blogs. If you do not want to go through the trouble of making a skin, and rather take one from a site, many sites offer Free Xanga skins.

http://www.blogring.net same thing as createblog....no login required.

What is a Xanga Script?
You probably asked this question becuase:
A) you found the link 'xanga scripts' on BlogRing.net or Createblog
B) you heard it from a friend
C) Other (HA! I'm hilarious....)
A xanga script is a code that changes something on your xanga page. Why these are cool? Becuase they can change something that xanga doesn't allow you to change naturally. Confused? Okay, here's an example:
You find a code that removes the Xanga Add at the top of your page.
You: *gasp* But Xanga doesn't allow you to-!
Me: yess!! Exactly my point! You can change something Xanga does not normally allow!
